Quality crafted doors made in Pembrokeshire

Pren Joinery makes hardwood and softwood doors in a wide variety of styles and designs. Each door is handcrafted to a very high standard using a combination of traditional and modern joinery techniques.

Each door is a handfinished work of art

Whether the doors are for exterior or interior use, from a stock design, or a special 'one-off' design, for example - to match in with other doors in a period property, each is hand-finished to a very hight standard. We also can add a personal touch to each door - such as the scalloped reveal the door opposite - one of 30 or so that we made for the newly restored Penrhiw Retreat in St David's.

A door for all seasons

All our hardwood external doors are hand crafted using traditional techniques, including mortice and tenon joints. This ensures that the doors are incredibly hardwearing and will serve well for years to come, even in the testing winter conditions often endured in west Wales.

This is particularly important for civic amenity applications, such as the solid oak doors we made for the recently opened public conveniences in St David's.

In constant daily use, these doors have been made to withstand very robust use, whilst still looking attractive and fitting in perfectly with the style of the building.

Door hanging - it's all part of the service

If we have made your doors, why not ask us to hang them too? The same craftsmen that made the doors will hang them with the same care and attention to detail that was used in the making of them. We can fit a variety of door furniture to suit your property and give the doors a suitable finish, such as Impranol, which is somewhere in between an oil and a lacquer and produces excellent results.
